This weekend I had the pleasure of babysitting a sweet 9 month old little girl. She went with my Son-in-Law and I to pick up our Katie from Ft. Jackson. She will be home from training for 14 days. Our Son and his Girlfriend came to visit from college. We went to the Aquarium and the Coca Cola Museum Saturday. Sunday the "Girls" decorated for Halloween while the "Guys" went out and did Guy Things. They did come home and cook steaks on the grill for us. We had a great supper before the kids had to head back to school.
It was a great weekend, the house is quiet and I will be back to homemaking this week.

What a Fun Day
Today I had a chance to babysit a wonderful little girl. She is such a sweetheart. She laughed and played on a quilt in the floor. Of course I couldn't help but play with her. It really was a fun day. I am looking forward to Friday when she will be back again.

Back to Blogging
It has been almost a year and I am trying to get back to the blog. The doggies are out and the kitties are sleeping and the bird is chirping. Sheets are in the washer and dryer and clothes are folded. Tomorrow I will be babysitting the daughter of a deployed Soldier. She is a sweet little baby and very easy going. Thank Goodness. My Dear Kate is still at Ft. Jackson in Basic Training. We talked to her this weekend. It was really good to hear her voice. She is doing well and I am so proud of both her and her husband. This was a hard decision for them but they made it together. She will be going into the medical field and he will be able to get degree. They are on their way to better things. Meanwhile, I am puppy sitting for Ace. He will live with us until they have a home together (hopefully November). Son-In-Law comes over almost every day when he gets off of work. It is really nice to see him.
