Time to update my Sitting Room

I have decided to remove the daybed from my sitting room and replace it with a chair. I want to make more room for my machines. Yes more than one and I want to set them up for the type of work I want to do. Honey has found a love for older Singer machines and that has been good for me. I hope to have pictures available soon to show the changes. DH will help if I ask.

A Picture to Follow

I have counted and discovered I have completed 19 pink heart squares. I have two more almost complete. I am almost afraid to count the remaining squares (they seem to be multiplying). DD was here today and helped with housework. Honey didn't feel well and stayed home tonight. No meetings for him. Hopefully we will all be back on our feet soon.

Well, it's a new day

I took my mid-term exam today and was at home before noon. Poor Honey had to suffer and push me through. I really wanted to give up, but no matter. Best of all, Honey and I had a nice day together. We went to Pull A Part. It is a really nice junk yard and he is working on upgrading he GrandDad's truck. So it is a good place to get parts. Home again and pizza for supper. No more for now.

Set for St. Patrick's Day

I finally finished getting ready for St. Patrick's Day. The plan is to have a traditional meal too. Honey is really looking forward to it (of course, so am I). We will probably be working at the AMS NASCAR Race that weekend. At least dinner will be ready when we get home.

Winnie's day out

This is Winnie when we took her on her outing to the pet store. She certainly did enjoy herself. We will have to take her out more often. She is 12 years old now so she has slowed down a lot, but she really likes people.

Home at Last

Friday night I had a class from 5:00 - 8:30 in Business Decision Making. This morning I had a class in Business Finance from 8:30 - 1:00. It was really hard to stay awake this morning. When I got home from school I took a short nap. Then Honey and I took our dog Winnie to the pet store. She had a day of beauty yesterday and enjoyed going out to see other people today. I will post pictures later in the week. We have finished supper and are getting for a nice quiet evening at home. I do enjoy being at home in the winter. I have two pink heart quilt squares prepared to work on while we watch tv. Who could ask for a better evening.

Honey is so Romantic!

My Honey is so Romantic!! He had to work at a conference this week in the North part of Atlanta. He had a room at the Hotel and I went up to spend the nights. I thought that was Valentine's Gift enough. Well he didn't. He had a PajamaGram sent to me at home. It really is the sweetest thing. I know every time I wear it I will feel like I am being hugged by my Honey. Who could ask for anything more!

Two of our Dear Kitties

It is difficult to tell by this photo, but this is two of our Dear Kitties. Usually they will not sit together and wait to ambush each other behind doors. They missed their Daddy today though and slept quietly in his lap for half an hour. Before I could snap a second picture they were off, chasing each other all through the house. They remind me of a brother and sister and they are (related by adoption of course).

Well On to a New Day

Today I tried to finish taking down the Christmas Decorations and start Valentines Day and St. Patrick's Day. Most everything has been finished. Honey did lots of laundry and I folded. I also did some lite house cleaning this weekend. I still have to print my homework from my Saturday Morning Class. I will do some homework from the Friday nite class tonight and work on Saturday morining tomorrow. I also have want to finish a Miss Tiff Gift tomorrow.
Merlin (our youngest cat) has been in need of much love this weekend. I think Audrey's visit may have caused some of this. Typing with a cat on your lap isn't easy, but it is comforting.
Well back to work. I still have two boxes to pack up and then we start on Valentines Day and St. Paddys Day. There is just too much fun to be had.

Puppy Sitting

Yesterday Honey and I had a chance to puppy sit a friends 11 week old Italian Greyhound. Her name is Audrey. She seems to have two speeds, bouncing and running or asleep. We gave her a squirrel to play with (it is almost as big as she is). She carried it all over the house. Our cats (who are bigger than she is) just sat and watched her in disgust. She wanted to play with our older dog Winnie but Winnie just tried to ignore her. While it was fun to have a puppy for a day, I don't think the rest of our pets are up to having one full time.

The end of a very long day

At long last I am home again and can rest. I finished 7 of Miss Tiff's gifts and only have five more to complete. As I have worked on them I have come up with several short cuts to make them go faster. DD came to visit today and we had a nice time together. I had my class tonight. It is one of three that remain to complete my BS degree. I have one class tomorrow morning. Yesterday I got two heart quilt squares ready to applique. My goal is to finish them by February 14th. I may not make that date, but I feel sure I can finish them by the end of February.

A bit of sunshine

Mother Nature was kind enough to send us a bit of sunshine during the winter. Of course we had snow today. Not enough to enjoy, just enough to snarl up traffic.
