Dear Honey and I are having a nice quiet day together to start off the new year. Yesterday I cooked collards and black-eyed peas for the traditional lunch. Now I am cooking the ham and Honey is making the cornbread. After lunch we are going to see a movie.
I have retired after a career in the Army. I am now learning how to be a homemaker. I am learning to quilt and also enjoy knitting, dress making,cross stitch, needlepoint and beading.
